Hi everyone,

I need to make a confession.............. I've sold my CR :uhoh:
Really loved the bike a great deal, but if I'm completely honest, it wasn't really me.
Plus, because it was a rare one, I got very precious about it. Only did 800 miles on it this year, and that in mind, feel it was hardly worth the tax and insurance etc.
So it's gone off to Germany, to a guy who will really enjoy it in the way it's meant to be enjoyed.

Meanwhile I've got myself a machine thats more me :old: , a 1950 Sunbeam S8, bar a trader before me who sold off the reg (now has age related) it had one owner form new!.
The engine, for peeps who are unaware, is a in line twin 500cc motor and is Rubber mounted in the frame!, Erick would be proud. ;)
It runs so smooth, basically a car type layout, ie, in line engine, single plate clutch, gear box behind with a shaft drive using a worm and pinion in the drive box.

So I'm hoping I'll be still welcome at UKbeg meets as I'd love to keep meeting up with you guys! :4roz: ......................even if it will take me a little longer to get there! lol

I'm sure another Buell will be in my life eventually sometime in the future. ;) it's a bike that once you discover you never forget.

Regards, Jon

Yeah.....cos when parts such as engines and frames etc. are no longer available for the XB series (like already) you'll always be able to get them from the aftermarket or just make them like you can for the tubers......NOT
