Post subject:  News from EcmSpy backstage ...

Last year I managed to get the program, that's running inside the ECM and doing all the calculations, out of the black box to my hard disk, but had no equipment nor time to play with the data. I got some equipment in the meantime, that's a beginning at all :-) Still lacking knowledge, so it took me four weeks to get a faint idea what the first two hundred lines of code (assembly code, of course) seemed to mean, and further 16.000 lines are still waiting to be understood.

Well, anyway, I bought a demo board, a handfull of CPUs and last weekend decided to give it at try. Powered up the CPU, connected it to EcmSpy and ... the CPU is talking to the application.
Talking loads of rubbish of course, as no EEPROM nor other peripherial devices are connected yet, but the first step is made.

I have no idea if this might of any use or not, but who cares ...
