.......... Uly had a poor running problem that has gradually got worse - so bad running it was dangerous - AA relay to Riders @ Bridgwater - diagnosed as ECU melt down (they all do that sir) - all sorted and running well. Warranty-direct pays out yet again.

Professional team at Riders and good service.

Good to be back on the road.

Now just need a little fettling of the S1 - ready for the spring

:)

Welcome back to the fun side of Buells. Hope you have many more miles of pleasure before Riders need to work on it again. :sun: :yup:

Hi Jill / Chris

Jill - 'Riders' dealt with this issue, as it meant swopping out electronics - normally Tubbs does the spannering. Baz at lightning services is good too.

Chris - does watching bike videos on Youtube help? I ask because I have made many vids with injured or retired bikers in mind.

:)

.........have fitted a s/h Jardine can and it sounds awesome - better than Stealth, HP and mdded standarded. And has probably added the right amount of back pressure because much less flat spots.

Tried capturing the sound up Cheddar gorge and along the Priddy road this afternoon but have not yet manged to get my iphone sound quality sorted - need a remote microphone I think.

Going well. Hard to imagine a better bike for the back roads - and I have tried quite a few including Multistrada and V4 Tunon. The Uly is a very much under rated bike.
