..........with my 1125 8-) :yup: :worthy:

I've spent all weekend hooning around Wales on very slippery roads and found the predictable linear grunt of the Helicon a life saver. If I'd tried it on my Duc 1198, it would've rewarded me with a trip to hospital :o
I know it's not got any where near the grunt of the Duc, but it's just so easy to ride quickly in marginal conditions :yup: (as some 'Drifters' in a Mitsi Evo found out after I got bored playing with them just outside Towyn lOl )

I can't really believe how light the Oberon clutch is, there's been a few times in the last 500 miles when I was convinced it was leaking again because the lever really is a one finger affair. I've just inspected and bled it again - no leaks and no air bubbles :yup: :sun: Oberon have sorted the rocking piston problem (as previously identified to me by Maz) with their 'magic' bearing that properly supports the piston and allows it to pull off 'square'.

Huge thanks again to Steve (Oberon) and Blackrag :worthy:

Not sure what the stock situation is, but it's worth a call to Steve Street. Ray (Blackrag) has several thousand miles on his Oberon clutch, and has had no problems either :yup:

I've started riding mine again, now that the warranty on the CR has expired.

It really is a great bike, as long as you have the roads to exploit !

I will be getting the Oberon clutch solution at some point - it will be part of the "makeover" I have planned, as long as funds allow ...

So what type of seals does the Oberon clutch cyclinder use ?

And of course, now that the warranty has expired everything on the CR will go to crap !

Had the CR serviced at Black Bear back in November and the bike looked pretty good ...

... now, the exhaust is is being eaten by rust gremlins, the IC is misting up, I'm getting the engine management light when starting if the temperature is around zero centigrade and the rear axle has rusted where it's exposed - so much for the anodising !

On the upside I'm still on the original bearings ... :o

was hoping that the 3 bearing rear wheel would be an improvement, but surprised that the front is still OK.

http://www.oberon-performance.co.uk/ as soon as the pics and details are up I will post a link, the system uses proper seals although custom made not O rings , the system has a bearing in it also been designed to be easier to fit and locate, the efficiency as Adam has said is so so much better :yup: perfect for quick shifts and traffic work, you really will be surprised :yup:
