Howdoo chaps and chapesses! :)
As some of you may know by now, I work on boats, and very often I use products every day that most lubbers have never heard of, but are good for my car and bike passion.
Well today I was fixing a navigation light, and I reached into my electrickery bag for a product I've been using for years, and consider it an essential part of my tool kit.
So I thought I'd share it with you.

Liquid electrical tape! :yup:

Paint it on with the handy brush in the cap, and it dries into a rubbery film, which can be easily rolled off with your fingers if you need to get back at the joint. (Srew terminals for instance).
Perfect for those exposed battery terminals, or any other for that matter. ;)

Hope this helps someone out in the future.
Regards,
Mick.

It doesn't peel off without having to pull at it if you know what I mean.

Cheers,
Mick.

Mmm, not that tough, and a bit easier to get off!
I can never get that self amalgamating tape undone again without having to cut it with a new stanley blade!
I use the tape on cable connections. Today I had to replace a couple of cameras, and used the tape on the twist connectors for the coax.
The other good thing about the Starbright stuff is it smells really good! :yup:
