Has anyone out there fitted or has any feedback on handlebar conversion kits for firebolts???
I've seen the LSL superbike kit and was wondering if they were any good??
Or , do people out there know of a cheaper alternative???

Hi again! Yes the LSL kit is fine, Available from Trojan Horse, I fitted one to my old 12R, makes it much more comfortable to ride. You just have to assemble it in a certain order and watch for the cable routing due to their lengths.

:yt:
got mine second hand from Yoffi :worthy: .
Also remember to alter your suspension settings to lightning settings,
as your weight will be upright .
Lightning pegs are an inch lower ,so worth
fitting for a bit more comfort too.

Sorry if my opinion doesn't suit you Nutah.
Never been able to get my head around the Firebolt......was the model the factory launched to capture the wannabe rice customers they were missing out on......but they missed the point by a long way :?
Buells have always been different, factory built street fighters was their original goal but the R was definitely trying to be mainstream IMO :|

The rivalry between models ain't a bad thing  :eat: , but maz it gets a bit tiring when a genuine enthusiast wishing to mod the xb to their taste/liking actually login in to this site to ask questions etc maybe get to make a few mates along the way , has to read your repetitive drivel/hatred of the model , if you dont have anything positive to add to the thread then don't bother , as i said very tiring  .

Mike, nothing to do with rivalry between models etc.....just cant understand why someone buys a particular model and then trys to morf it into another model that they, maybe, should've considered in the 1st place
Same goes for M2 owners that try to make them into an S1.

The LSL kit is the cheaper alternative. Other alternatives, like Free Spirits or BKG require the full triple clamp replaced, not just the top yoke.
