well i have bought a Buell Ulysses from Edinburgh HD a 2005 with 12,000mls pluss remus and a few small add ons ,as i live in North Devon io have bough blind but as its from a main agent there shouldnt be a problem.

now got to wait , iam going to fit alloy panniers ie Ardcases as i do a far bit of camping all the year round, and will look at converting to chain as am not a belt lover.

Don't do that mate, apart from anything its a lot of work and money and the belt is best anyway.

What's there not to like about belts? Maintenance free, clean and quiet - chains waste a lot of energy in noise ;) . If a belt breaks, it doesn't sever your femural artery or trash your crankcases.
As for reliability, a lot of light aircraft have belt drive to the prop gearbox and helicopters have belts driving the tail rotor, if that breaks, you die lOl
They cost about the same as a quality chain and sprocket set.

I wouldn't bother with trying to find a chain conversion. the belts are great.
