well i have bought a Buell Ulysses from Edinburgh HD a 2005 with 12,000mls pluss remus and a few small add ons ,as i live in North Devon io have bough blind but as its from a main agent there shouldnt be a problem. now got to wait , iam going to fit alloy panniers ie Ardcases as i do a far bit of camping all the year round, and will look at converting to chain as am not a belt lover. john |

What's there not to like about belts? Maintenance free, clean and quiet - chains waste a lot of energy in noise ![]() As for reliability, a lot of light aircraft have belt drive to the prop gearbox and helicopters have belts driving the tail rotor, if that breaks, you die ![]() They cost about the same as a quality chain and sprocket set. |

That looks very nice John. ![]() I wouldn't bother with trying to find a chain conversion. the belts are great. |
