I've used an odyssey pc545 on my old XB 12 and was an excellent battery price wise and would start a bus, When the X 1 needs a new battery it'll be an odyssey HTH |

http://motobatt.com/ More cranking amps than the standard Yuasa (Bout the same as the original factory supplied HD ones). The Original H-D one in me M2 lasted fer 5 years..... The so-called Heavy Duty Generic Jap Battery would not turn the engine over... And the replacement HD-Buell Battery turned out to be a Yuasa in a Harley box... That lasted about a year and a half... The Motobatt has been in over two years now and still OK. I have had one in me Beta Alp fer five years and still OK. So recommended.... ![]() Expect to pay about £80 as opposed to the Yuasa-Harley £120...... |

My original M2 battery (Yuasa made as I have been told) lasted nearly 9 years, without using any trickle charger nonsense. At around £120 (price I paid in early 2010) this should be the cheapest- and most reliable option around ![]() |

Tuber batteries (and probably Xb ones) are rebadged Westco SVR(?) AGM items, which are cheaper to buy than HD badged ones. Mind you, HDB ones are all balck, whick to my eye looks much more tasteful if your battery is exposed. Just for the record, my original battery is now over 11 years old and still going strong. |

YTX14-BS High Power Enduroline Motorcycle Bike Battery - More Power than Lithium ( 271630110948 ) Just cut & paste into ebay At £47.95 I think The Enduroline ones kick out 10% more crank from cold than some costing double, worth acheck. They never failed on my triples, spun them into life real quick & looks about the same size you's have to check that. They do not have teminals both side so check. but I've used them for years with no failures, still have one on my naked Daytona. still cranks the shit out of it on start up if you keep it on an optimiser. |
