I wonder how well these new pucks will survive a minor crash ...........if they have a stronger inner surface maybe they will prevent frame damage better .

I rekon the metal under the pucks must be fairly thin judging by the way they cave in so readily. I wonder how many of these off's have been down to waxy new rear tyres
Especially the BT 023's as recommended by you Kev!!

Anyway I took most of the impact and not the bike- just cost a new gearchange lever and some pride!

Oops ........sorry to hear that yours seemed over waxy .................I must say mine didn't seem any different when new to any other brands that i've ever used
