am after a bit more poke from my 06 12r so have decided after a bit of looking around to go with;

pipercross air filter
buell race can
buell race ecm
tps reset

is there anything missing or dumb with that list? am thinking the race can might be a bit hard to source and i did consider keeping the original ecm and getting directlink but seems to be the same as just using the race ecm...

any advice / comments greatly appreciated from your experiences, before i get stuck in 8-)

cheers aks

hi aks12rrrr, i think the race ecu data can be flashed onto yours using ecm spy
tps reset must be done when changing ecu anyway
the race can is not the best (power/durability)
aftermarket air filter wont do any harm............. hth whichway?

The remus can IMO is one of the best , coupled with a K&N filter and exhaust emulator
Think someone is selling such items on this site

yeah right, what is a Tubbs :?: ........... a Biscuit munching, macD scoffing, eclair gobbling, buell tweeking, mythical creature inhabiting the south coastal, me thinks.........area. ;)

the northern co-species is a Maz.

I am not sure but 'a Tubbs' is more of a racer tuner, avec dyno etc - well worth a chat with both I suggest

If you want more poke, sell it and buy something faster...

Although aks just says he is looking for a bit more, pipe, filter and rejigged ecm should manage that.

As you are fairly new here I will cut you some slack and elaborate "Tubbs"

Monsieur Tubbs takes your stock exhaust and adds his own secret recipe of herbs and spices to give it some more oomph with a lovely growl to the exhaust note.

Having owned both a Tubbs and a Buell race exhaust I would definitely endorse a Tubbs over the Buell offering - along with the deeper exhaust note it gives a little extra go throughout the rev range whereas the race gives a deeper note and a little extra at the top of the rev range.

I would suggest that you give Tubbs (click his name ) a PM and ask him very nicely if he can modify your exhaust ...

... the only downside is that you will need to have the exhaust cam-coated as the stock Buell exhaust is extremely prone to rust - but it may still be cheaper than buying a Remus ...
