I rekon the metal under the pucks must be fairly thin judging by the way they cave in so readily. I wonder how many of these off's have been down to waxy new rear tyres  Especially the BT 023's as recommended by you Kev!! Anyway I took most of the impact and not the bike- just cost a new gearchange lever and some pride! |

Oops  ........sorry to hear that yours seemed over waxy  .................I must say mine didn't seem any different when new to any other brands that i've ever used
