Hi all, I've barely ridden my CR this year due to the work/weather combo. What do you think?
Anyone fancy a 09/58 1125CR with a Jardine rt-5, Pazzo shorties and and tail tidy?

long MOT and just serviced.....

I may even give it a clean too!

Would you replace it with something else ?

And would that get ridden ?

If you don't have the time to ride at the moment then I would keep it - you won't get a lot for it as not many people have seen the light ...

... but if you're not riding because you want a change, then you may as well go for it !

I'm just not getting out on it, so I doubt a KTM will be sat in its place if I get rid.

I did give it a little run out yesterday and it put a big grin to my face....

Hmmmm.

"get rid of"....doesn't sound like a term of endearment to me! Find something that you like that also puts a smile on your face?

Are you saying it's gonna become a collectors item Spook?
Will it be worth less as I've taken it out of the box?!

Tough one - but on the whole I'd say keep it - unless there's something else you fancy. I simply cannot bring myself to part with my Guzzi for the same reason.

It's old and seldom used but ........... I did let my Buell go for the "not using it much" reason - I had to choose twixt the Guzzi and the Buell. Two "not used often" bikes was silly.

Not sure why you need to ask. Are there other underlying reasons?

Go into your garage this evening and sit on the bike, pull it off the stand and get the feel of it. Then leave it and see how you feel about your bike in the morning.........and again how you feel about it on the morning of that special sunny Sunday in a few weeks from now! 8-)

Not been in that position myself. I like to know there's a Buell in my garage anytime.

Just an idea for some cognitive therapy! ;)

If you sell it your not a biker anymore I take it, strange feeling that, I did it for 6 months when my son was born, it didn't work for me and it was the only 6months of my grown up life I didn't have a bike :?

I have 9 now and unless something drastic happens I'll never sell any of them even though my leg is so bad now I find it almost impossible to ride my zx6r with leathers on.
its too hot with nowt on :)

I only regularly use 3 of them but once they are paid for what difference does it make and one day they will be worth a shit load of money.

I wouldn't part with it.

Andy
