Hi all, Sorry if I have posted this in the wrong place.

I was servicing the beast today and accidentally snapped what i believe to be the oil pressure switch/sensor thingy near the oil filter. Does anyone know where I can find a replacement?

Cheers

Marc.

IIRC it's the same part as used by sportsters (part no: 26554-77), so any Harley independent should be able to help you.

And be careful you don't overtighten the replacement ;)

Betty,

You may as well order in two or three, to save time later.

IMO they tend to break or fail on a fairly regular basis so its worth having a spare or two.

(When the oil warning light comes on, I usually end up assuming that it is the switch that has gone wrong, rather than there is a real problem, which isn't really ideal - but is usually correct.)

Instrument of first resort when the oil light comes on is to check the switch.

Dave
