... my 2012 1125CR has the dreaded water pump leak !

Gave it a wash last night and noticed the tell-tale signs running down from the witness hole. Cleaned it up and checked this morning after an 8 mile ride to work - at the moment no signs - but I bet there will be after Silverstone on Sunday.

So much for uprated seals ...

If it was a car, I'd just lob some rad weld in. Is your CR still in Warranty?

Nope, the warranty expired in January.

To be fair, at the moment it's not flooding out, checked the coolant and the level's OK - so I just need to keep an eye on it as I've not heard of anybody suffering a catastrophic failure.

Although, knowing my luck, mine will be the first !

Do I really need to rotate the motor to replace the seal on the water pump ?

If so then it's going to have to wait ...
