Just noticed my M.O.T is overdue, bad me!. My 1125 was registered on the 25.04.2008, I've not done much to the bike bar fit a Tubbs exhaust. I have not mucked about with fuelling; I'm not racing it. After the last H-D/Buell remap my bike performed just right, like a train on rails in the corners and a whirilwind off the strait. WHY are people selling these beautiful bikes for so little money. lf you have one keep it, keep it ride it and cherrish it, do not deface it by setting fuelling maps you know jack about. Just learn to ride it and take the piss that way.. |

a) because most got tired throwing money at HD for replacing fogged instrument clusters, leaking clutches and burnt stators twice a year. b) because they look fugly c) because their sound sucks d) because an RC8 gives more bang for the buck e) because a Multistradada gives even more bang for the buck and won't hurt your wrists e) because 'bolts are the only real Buells |

I'm in the same boat - my R is in my garage waiting for me to MOT it - I should be out riding it but I don't just seem to get the time to get it checked out and done as I still haven't sorted out my front brake pulsing issue ... |

Swap your wheels over I have considered that - but I'm concerned that the exhaust may collapse if I use it as a jacking point as the rust has really taken hold, I've only got one front end stand - may have to try suspending a bike from the garage rafters. pash wrote: sportster_mann wrote: I'm in the same boat - my R is in my garage waiting for me to MOT it - I should be out riding it but I don't just seem to get the time to get it checked out and done as I still haven't sorted out my front brake pulsing issue ... Fit Goldfren to scrub your disc It's a new EBR disc - I need to give the caliper an overhaul as I think the problem may lay there - if nothing else it needs a good clean ... |

My first MOT is due in October. I picked my 1125 up 5 days before the announcement. The recorded miles on the first MOT will start with a 3. |

Did you use the EBR mounting kit? Yep, I did - but I think I also need to re-check the torque settings - I'm paranoid that I've over-torqued it, although I always tend to use the lower end of the range I haven't had my wrench calibration checked recently ... |

As long as they are all the same there shouldn't be a problem... |

(Except that my 1125 feels very 'underpowered' when I get off my 1198 ) |
