I called at Oxford HD on the way home from Portsmouth to top up with oil and there's an orange and blue 2000 X1 in the second hand selection, bloke was a bit cagey about the price, trying to make out it was worth more i think & said he wasn't to bothered about selling it.
It's not listed on the web site and I think it might be a seperate enterprise to HD as its got some sport bikes in there too, anyway I showed him what a quality X1 looked like and left him with an Albert roar in his ear.

they used to have a non HD outlet next door (a few years since i was there)
IIRC Darren was the guy running it
maybe they won't put it in the HD showroom because it's a Buell
or could be just "too old" for the dealership forecourt
probably end up on ebay

got my uly from there last year
two seperate shops HD one side ( and only HD) and the other, oxford performance bike ? ( think it was Darren as well) although at times its a bit hand in glove between the shops

Well suits me if they were because i'm glad i bought it .................... excellent bikes and fantastic value for money ................... far more reliable than peoples perception of them and great for scratching around backlanes or for touring Europe fully loaded , and as long as finances permit i intend it to be a keeper just like the X1

I asked why he hadn't put it up on here and he said he wouldn't as for some reason everyone on here was down on Buells and didn't ride them enough, then i told him where i had just been!

Well reading UKBEG would give most outsiders the impression we don't like Buells especially seeing as it is Buell ENTHUSIAST supposedly .
Far too many negative storys and not enough of the true storys about just how good Buells really are in my opinion.
