He looks like he is keeping the VIN too from the listing for the frame... Shame, that bike had Erik's autograph on the screen... kevmean wrote: The ironic thing is he robbed the motor to build a streetfighter ...............hasn't anybody told him Buell built the best streetfighters ever. And that the oil pump gear and gearbox output shaft bearing are probably on their last legs... |

Relax Peeps, it's only a motorbike! And a 'Bic' of a motorbike at that.... ![]() At least its parts may help someone else to keep their beloved bike on the road, which in my opinion is better than it just being left to rot, unloved, in a shed. The time will come when we will all be glad of a part from a broken bike... |

Matron wrote:  Flippin' heck! That didn't take long, did it? What is the point of that? Is he really likely to make a massive profit on the broken parts? Sad ![]() Dunno if it still happens, but I've heard that on some models a breaker would buy a new bike to break, such was the demand and therefore profit to be made... |

Has to be about supply and demand, but some sellers on Ebay seem to think that some secondhand parts masquerading as piles of excrement, can bring big money . Suppose it only needs one punter stuck for a bit and the cash register has rung . |
