am hoping to source a can in the next few weeks but was just wondering if i would need the exhaust valve emulator
http://www.trojan-horse.co.uk/prods/97.html

as it says - wont need it if using a race ecm but what about a stock ecm with a race ecm map? dont know if there is a physical difference between the 2...
apologies is this has been covered :old:

IIRC you have 3 options to not getting an error regarding the exhaust valve.

1.. remove the servo and fit the emulator

2.. leave the servo in place but leave the cable disconnected from the exhaust

3.. get somebody to disable it in the ECM with ECMSpy

Why do you need the emulator? If the cable is disconnected it does nothing anyway?

Except set the Check Engine Light. The emulation is there to make the ECM think it is working...
