A comment by Nate got me thinking, how many of you would change the stock exhaust if it didn't rot, we all complain about the quality of the stock exhaust, but does it really matter ? |

i haven't replaced mine as i cant be bothered. after almost 3 years its rusty, but i dont care. an aftermarket can is shiny, but from what i read they dont make a great deal of diference, except to the sound, might get a Tubbs in the winter when i give my Scg a good sort out |

There was a significant weight difference between my Termignoni and the stock exhuast. The stock one gets heavy quickly if you hold it up with one hand, the Termi doesn't. However the mounting for the Termignoni one is bollocks and I've had a bit of toruble - had to get new brackets made and clamps - the Buell one obviously fits nicely. |

First thing I did was buy a secondhand original in good condition then modify the original so now i have a nice clean original silencer for MOT etc. and a original looking loud pipe for raising Kane! love it. ![]() |

It was the first thing I changed on my bike. Apart from rusting like a bastid, it just didn't sound right. |

I asked my local dealer if they had a stock exhaust for a 1125r stored, I got no reply. The standard dose the job well apart from the emissions on the already fragile back break, my thought get it modified to eliminate same probs. Get it powder coated and save everyone a lot of hassle. ![]() The new HPE on Trojans site I'm sure is a great can and good on him for finding it and supplying same, but hey a few squids too much for us who still have a mortgage. As Sportster man said why not make the initial item good.... |
