Triple S have powder coated the entire engine on this build......this is a 1st for me and I have reservations as to how the coating is going to cope with the temps on an air cooled motor ........time will tell :?

I was asked to rebuild a 200 Suzuki race bike two years ago Maz, the chap who owned it insisted on having the expansion chambers powder coated, I was against this as I feared it might upset the much needed resonance, but hey ho, he was paying so it was done. It's done a few race miles and still looks good.

Why ??.......what's wrong with the standard subframe :? .......IMO it's a major feature of an X1 and unique in motorcycle design/manufacturing......everyone else goes for the cheap route of tubular seat frames
