I would like to thank Steve / John and the crew at Black Bear for looking after me with the purchase of my Scg and the great buelligans I´ve met in the few days I´ve been here:
Kev - with a great ride ride around the winchester area.... :yup:
Banjo - with a drink in his local :yup:
Steve G for a good but short ride from the Meon Hut :yup:
And Kim (sorry don´t know your forum handle) Firebolt on Hayling Island
Can´t say I like the awfull trafic here, seems every bend you come too is blocked by cars! :headbang: But the chicken strips are gone and I´m off back to Spain tomorrow for some serious bend swinging.
Hope to meet more of you guys next time over :D
Saludos - Tony Image
(admin, where´s my smilie "sun" gone, please?)

Nice one Chisp - who's that weirdo who crept into the photo thought ?

You're doing well to get rid of the chicken strips in UK traffic (or at all for that matter :oooops: ). I think some of the lovely roads of Spain must be a breath of fresh air after touring our Chav infested gridlock. Some very good roads out by Black Bear if you know where to look though.

Congrats on the new bike.
Doug

He might have first ridden an AJS 350 back in 1957 (a good year of birth for us older Buelligans  ) but he hasn't lost his bottle 8-)

I couldn't stay with him on his local roads in Spain and I couldn't lose him on my local roads here. Sounds like Kev put him to the test on the Hampshire back roads though :o

Well done, Ash for making an old man very happy with his smiley sun :sun: when the rest of us know just how much pressure you are under

Good to see you Chispitas and thanks for travelling so far to pick up your highly specced XB12Scg.

Steve

Well Chispitas has been back home for a few weeks now and has improved his ground clearance by fitting Firebolt footpegs and cutting off the ends of the Micron exhaust exits. Now he's getting the hang of it and blitzing many of his Spanish riding buddies on the road to Ronda 8-)

Thought you might like to see a couple of pics of the old boy in action. Not bad for a pensioner, is he?

Impressive stuff.

But why have you got your hand on his arse in his picture at the top of the thread, Steve? Is that a new customer service technique?

That's nothing compared to the secrets your fiancee and I kept from you, RF

He´s taken an evening course on proctology - so practicing, I guess - didn´t feel a thing. :D
Luv the bike Steve; very rare out here. Most don´t know what it is :sun:

And a pleasure meeting you too Tony (and Mrs Tony), and thanks for lunch, I must say, that Rioja I had was the nicest tasting I have had this week.

And I can vouch for the pictures above, the XB and HP2 have been run to the edge of the tread and the Firebolt (higher) pegs on the Lightning have dragged themselves along the Ronda road...

So Chispitas, I'll see you soon with my bike, then you can show me the road, and we can ride it till I get it right... ;)

Blimey I ain't that old!! I'm 66 in August - a mere spring chicken :old:
Well thank you guys for the kind words makes it worth while suffering with the old bones as I try to keep with the youngsters out here. I do have an advantage over you guys in the UK that I ride a mountain road with bend after bend (276 actually).
Kev - I had one of the best rides with you that I can remember in the UK and you proved to me that for "B" roads a Buell is the best bike out there....... Can't wait for another dose of UK adrenalin at 3 figure speeds on narrow lanes. I needed to adjust the pace maker afterwards

Pash lovely to meet you & Cheles tambien............quando tu estas lista hay una cama para ti aqui :yup: y gracias por el resistor y las programas - un abrazo :sun:
