Hi eveyone, iv just received a carbon undertray for an X1 I havent had a good look, but it seems that the seat lock has to be repositioned. Has any one fitted one. how much trouble was it and was the effect worth it?

I made an aluminium undertray for muffin so had to relocate the seat lock which was very simple and has been no problem since. All the aftermarket undertrays i've seen require this to be done .

:yt: Repositioning the lock is dead easy. Drill a hole and stick it out of the way lOl

If its the cheap Chinese one you will have a nightmare with it, I got one and it wasn't shaped around the section at the back of the seat loop so it had to be cut out to take stock indicators & it didn't have any brackets to fix if in position under the seat.
It took Maz and me a couple of hours and some jiggery pokery but it looked OK in the end.
