The USA vendors don't seem to have options for lower bars anymore. The X1's time has passed apparently. I used to have the Crossroads bars and rather liked the position. Can't even find some used ones anymore.

Are there any options in the Euro sector? Didn't find anything on Tojan Horse. What other aftermarket sites are out there?

Also, would like some LSL rearsets as well. Trojan Horse has it listed on their site but LSL themselves do not. So I'm skeptical of availability.

Had these things once upon a time and sold them off the first time I sold the X1 and the buyer wanted the original bits instead. Shoulda kept these for a rainy day.

Bikes look nice when the sun shines :D

You could try Renthal Ultra Lows, a few of us use them.

As for LSL rear sets, Trojan may have the last set. EBR are LSL stockists, I bet if they asked LSL for some, LSL would fall over backwards to program the CNC machine up and make a few sets.

I thought about seeing if Al at American Sportbike would be interested in asking LSL to do a run of 5 sets and me willing to put up the dosh. He'd have the pull, not me.

Got a pic of the Renthals? Truth be told, the Crossroads bars, at full lock would actually "just " touch the tank and mess up the X1 on the graphics. But even during riding, sharp bar inputs would be cumbersome with tank/forearm bar interference. One more inch higher and half an inch forward would make a good difference and still have the body position I like.

I'm looking at another. Need to make a road trip a bit to check it out. But in a week I will if it seems good enough.

Seen that. Interested in one mounted to an X1 if someone here has it, to see how the sweep looks. Even on a dirt bike, I like the sweep to be parallel with the ground (rather than angled up) and that's hard to find with aftermarket bars. I prefer a slight downward sweep for the street bike though.

It appears that Trojan Horse is having problems with receiving e-mails through their "contact us' page.

Can someone do me the favor of telephoning them to see if they have the LSL rearsets in stock and if they'll ship to the USA?

Free Phone (UK only); 0800 4580677 telephone; +44 (0)1325 483551

LSL ‘rearset footrest kit’ for Buell X1 models (#04020399110BU03) with silver footpegs.

My S1 has the Renthals on, I think Adam has them on his X1.

What is it? Can't see e-bay at work.

Can't imagine why they don't want me surfing on work time. :?:

Yep, all my Tubers have them. Renthal Ultra Lows with 1" cut off the ends :yup:
