One of the members is selling a mantra tank. Does anybody know if it will fit an X1, and any modification is needed? Thank you.

It will but not without some slight mods ..................... a few people have fitted the Fuel injected Manta tanks off the later S3's .............. in fact I have a brand spanking new one in my garage that I did think about fitting to mine . You would have to make a new rear braket to hold it down + a couple of rubber buffers on the frame to stop it rubbing. The only other thing is it is a lot narrower than the X1 tank at the rear so the seat would need modifying to cloak the rear of the tank and frame .

......and the S1/M2 Manta tank would need serious work to fit the fuel pump unless you're gonna convert to a carb
