Hi all, quick update on my previous post regarding my X1's lack of fuel pressure, took it over to see Dave at northants v twin thoroughly nice bloke by the way " he said hi pash " we tested for pressure and it was making 10psi at prime and once running showed no pressure, said thanks to Dave and put the bike back in the van having bought a new ebc proline front disc and pads mine being shot and in need of immediate replacement.
So!, once home i stripped out the pump assembly and removed the pump from the alloy chassis, pump tested and pushing close to 2 ltrs a minute so going by its rated delivery I'd say that its not the pump, pulled the regulator and the seals looked very suspect, read lots of references regarding the reg, all the stuff on bad weather about cross referencing regs from different sources Delphi fitted in the v6 mustang etc so now I'm looking for a new reg and seals if anyone can point me in the right direction, also the fuel light module is dead so I need one of those as well.
I'm gonna rig the pump assembly up out of the bike and test it in a 25ltr tank having got some seals that a managed to fit to the reg and a pressure tester, try to see what if any pressure is made before the reg lets go, should be interesting, thanks in advance for any help with this matter, greatly appreciated as usual

Regards
Majormac. ;)
