Just today I bought some new tiedowns, when I worked out my current frayed ones are older than my mid-twenty something children. :old:

A lot of my ice climbing gear is now considered 'Vintage' on Ebay (Simond Chacal axe - state of the art in the 80's) and some of my rock protection is considered by some as being 'collectable' (Moac Nuts, stich plate, etc) lOl

Much of my wardrobe is older than my kids, and they pinch stuff because it's so old it's actually cool. It definitely wasn't the first time round, I was refused entry to more nightclubs than I actually got into lOl

My 2010 CR needs MOTing too, but can't seem to get the time to get it done at the moment - especially as my preferred tester doesn't work weekends ...

Although I am really enjoying riding the R at the moment, don't tend to use it for commuting as it's not as easy to use in traffic as the CR.
