I was just delugging my old race can, with a view to sometime getting it blasted and cam coated. Most of it is ok, but the underside of where the rear straps were is very rusty, and has actually rusted through in one spot. Is the can worth saving, or should I just bin it :?:

You could plug both outlets and keep it under your bed for when your bladders full in the night

If you weld the hole up (and you need to plate it), the strap will no longer fit.

Best make a bong with it...

Cut the rot out and joggle the edges, so the plate will fit flush.
