Have a look in the How To section to learn how to read the fault codes.

This will tell you what the ECM thinks is wrong.

You dont need EcmSpy to read trouble codes :)

Like Maz says, you don't need a lead to read the fault codes - A paper clip across the Tx and Rx pins on the plug will tell you the codes by flashing the maintenance light.

If you want a lead, you have two options (from me)

1. viewtopic.php?f=10&t=13767

2. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/160999317916? ... 1555.l2649

You will note that the EBay one is more expensive cos you are paying for the costs incurred by Ebay.

Lead is sold at cost of the parts.
