Has anyone and is it possible to change the standard Tuber headers into race bike spec ?
Is it a matter of cutting off the collector bit and getting the 2 1/2 inch welded on to go round the corner like the race jobbies !!!

I have found a local welder who can do just about anything and it may be worth a go

Wouldn't it be cheaper to buy a set of race headers?

IRCC you are near me, I can lend you a set for a pattern if you need.

It's all a bit arbitrary, TBH ...
What do you hope to gain from the race set up? You are not going to unleash another 25 horses and thrash GSXRs ...
You probably get more torque ... but pound per BHP it doesn't do that much ...

Let's wait for the purists!

PS - yes, I do have fitted to mine - but bought before they all became a little "Premium"
