My buell xb12 currently has its belt guards off I've been told by another buell rider to put them back on so the belt doesn't get damaged! I wanted to see if anyone has ever had a belt snap due to the lack of guards protecting the belt!
Thanks guys and gals :askmaz:

I am betting you will get an almost 50/50 split. I believe in leaving them on, after all they must have been put on for a reason... ;) :yup:

Leave them on, so all the road debris collects inside, and makes the World a tidy place lOl

I've still got mine on the Uly and the Firebolt cos my flares might get caught up in the belt...

Doesn't happen on the S1s cos I wear shorts.

Just make sure your sandal straps don't come undone!

The rear hugger/beltguard is removed from my M2... The belt passes very near the o/s passenger footpeg tho, so I'd probably keep it on if I ever carried passengers...
