Recent for sale threads woudl seem to indicate that CRs are selling for more than Rs. Is this right? And if yes, what are your thoughts on why? |

I would agree and would say that it comes down to two factors. Firstly the CR embodies more of the traditional Buell spirit, a naked streetfighter feel rather than a fairly focussed sports bike. The second is the number of machines available, the 1125R was available throughout the 2008 and 2009 model years whereas the 1125CR was only available for 2009 plus just a handful of 2010 models and Maz, Deep6 and I aren't letting go of them ![]() If anyone is looking for a nice 1125CR I have just taken in a mint red 09 model, one owner, 2300 mls with Heated Grips, High Bars and Remus Exhaust priced at £4995 which has just had an annual service and includes a one year warranty ![]() Steve |

Interesting question, Pash. I'll have to read the small print on the policy. Answer could be anywhere between none (sorry that's a consumable item!) to unlimited. My money is on the latter. Don't like to tempt fate but I'm still running on the original although all of my riding tends to be on the open road rather than in town and I have had an EBR rotor fitted for the past 18 months ![]() Steve |

If it sells, it shows they were an investment as they were cheaper than that new at the tail end of 2009... |

IMNSHO CRs are a much better bet for day to day use so that is possibly why they are holding their prices - plus the fact that the R was panned by the press on its launch ... |

Or it proves there's one born every minute or there are still people who don't know the value of something or that a tractor owner fancied a sports bike that he could still go to a HOG rally on and had some small change from furnishing his tractor in tweeting budgie parts to buy it. |

This one was sold in March 2010 for £6000 by a dealer who was smart enough to sit on it. Sorry to say that the few we had we murdered out at <£5000 by December ![]() Oh yes.......the warranty will cover the alternator but not the clutch seal ![]() Steve |
