Following my recent thread with my stator issue,it was really nice to bring the bike home from Black Bear watching a very healthy 14.3v most of the time with its new rewound stator and modified rotor.Over 100 hundred miles and the bike feels great.

Once again a big thank you to jon for sorting it,and Steve,Andy and Mitch for all there help too.

Its so nice to have to have people who genuinely care to get the job done right, and that deserves a mention in my book.

Cheers Guys :D

Is your book available on Amazon?

There seems to be a trend for peeps being pleased with Black Bear, they are going to get a reputation if they are not careful :yup:
They did great job fitting a Compufire voltage reg which so far has been good; though I have been KTMing a lot lately :oooops:

Foxy, without having to find your old thread, how many miles had you on it when the stator went?

I've always had a reputation, just pleased that the boys are earning a better one for the shop lOl Thanks, Foxy :yup:

Nick, from memory I think the bike has only done about 3000 miles but the original alternator burnt out a few hundred miles ago, was rewound under warranty then failed again. It has been rewound by West Country Windings but without warranty. We have fitted a drilled rotor a la EBR and hope it now performs the way my 1125CR has. 4000 miles with no alternator fault but half of those with the drilled EBR rotor fitted :)

Steve
