In the very early AMF days, a 125 two smoke was produced by them, being fairly closely based on the D1 BSA Bantam. A bit later in AMF history, an employee allegedly took some plans for an OHC Sportster to Yamaha, who then produced the TR1 - a bit like the MZ racer defection to Suzuki during the cold war. |
