My personal opinion is that the patent is filed to simply prevent anyone else from doing it even if EBR never gets around to it. At best, perhaps Hero has some ideas, just no presence in the USA. I see this all the time in my world. Competitors cock blocking each other with no intention of ever doing anything with it. They just don't want their competition to do it first and render them outdated. |
