The petrol tank cap on my (small tank) S1 is becoming harder and harder to remove, it looks like the plastic collar on the cap is the issue. What do you advise, at the moment sanding it down seems the best option? Any ideas please. |

Replacement saddles can be ordered from Newton for around £15. |

Mine started doing that last year. I just linished some of the plastic away. Don't know why it's growing after 16 years though. |

I had exactly the same issue. Linishing was the answer |

Thanks for the advice, took the cheap option and attacked the plastic with my Chinese Dremel copy, now it fits, and the "Dremel's" in the bin. How long till I need to do it again I wonder? |

Jill, have you found a nice handbag, that you can fit a bottle of wine in yet? |
