A few weeks ago the bike wouldnt start. No green neutral light. Yes the neutral sensor had failed.
By-passed the sensor by attaching a wire to enable the sensor circuit to be made by touching the wire to the exhaust. Green light on - Bike started.
Ordered a new sensor from HD Jersey and Tubs at Crescent fitted it for me as he had told me that the big nut that had to be removed would most likely be 99% imoveable. He was right and grinding of it was required to be able to remove the nut to enable the neutral sensor to be changed out.
Thanks to Steve (Tubs).
I will be going back there to get some new tyres next, prior to a week's jaunt with the XB12SCg over to France in a few months time.
I'm of for a ride.........
