has anyone got these fitted along with frame pucks?

i was going to get a set, but Matt at Trojan wasn't sure if the R&G are proud of the frame pucks or not.

If they aren't I won't bother with them.

cheers.....

Dave

We've discussed this at length (not much going on in the Wheeler household tonight  ) and have decided that they were not. The frame pucks, if we recall correctly, were much further out than the R & G's. But someone with a better memory than us old farts may be along in a while to correct us.

I may fit them anyway, as you say belt and braces.

Cheers

My R&G bungs are attached to a 'Firebolt' crash bar...which is attached to the front engine mount...which is attached to...

The bungs ARE wider than the frame pucks! ;)

The bar bungs have other uses, such as reaching down to feel how much your motor is shaking, or you can fix other useless items to the bar and watch them shake lose on long runs.

I can't see the pic as I'm at work, but i'm guessing it's to do with stabilisers

Another question.

This time about the rear axle protectors. I fit these this morning, the bobbin/bung on the right hand side of the bike seem a little tight to where the paddock stand lifts it up. ie seems to be slightly recessed into the swingarm, the left side seem to be much prouder.

Is it due the the axle spindle sitting further in the swingarm on the right or can another spacer be fitted to give me more room?

Cheers....
