Its been a few weeks since the Buell's seen daylight, in fact, other than fitting more carbon, some dual compound grips,new Carbon Lorriane pads and some adjustable pegs, I've done bugger all.. as I'm not qualified in Buell ownership yet...
So I thought I'd put the key in and see what happens.. clunk, clunk, bang, pop,pop,bang...braaaaaaph. pop! shed full of smoke, neighbours running for cover, its alive..big grin!!!
Now as I prey to the weather gods for the chance of a dry day before the bike seizes up, throws some strange component or worst still becomes unpopular, it might be worth trying to bed those pads in..
Theres still a few jobs more jobs,gearbox OP shaft oiler, lucky to have a lathe and a pretty good tea boy(dad) at my disposal, unless Maz has a change of heart and will send mail order.. nah! think we all know that one...
But for the moment it was nice to see the bike in daylight, and know it still works... might not stop thou....
