I used the last of my horded Nitromors last night with the usual success on my clutch case. A pimply youth recently sold me some stuff 'bertoline TX10' which 'will work as well'. Tonight I tried it on my cam cover, utter B@LLOX, completely useless. Can someone point me in the direction of a proper paint stripper????

You can still buy it, but along with all other paint strippers, it hasn't contained dichlormethane for a few years, so is nowhere near as fast/good. This year they banned even 'professionals' buying dichlormethane-based stripper, which was just about a feasible source, if you knew someone who qualified.

Nanny State or removing toxic dangers? No idea, but if stripping is your thing..... it ain't any more. All replacements take twice as long, cost twice as much, are generally rubbish, and can't be used for disposing of bodies.

Dammit man, these corpses are really piling up! Just softening them a bit is no good! seriously though, is there an alternative or is bead blasting/vapour blasting the only way?

I know that royal mail got a bit twitchy a few years back shipping RC model fuel (nitro ) .
Ended up being courier only and you purchased 4 gallons at a time, delivered in a cardboard box :D , but things seem to of got back to normal now

IIRC with this new watered down version; varnish remover is stronger than paint stripper

I don't know what your complaining about, I have a can of nitromors that is a new dichlormethane free recipe and to be honest, I find it better than the old stuff which would go off pretty quickly once you opened it.
