Well, first decent weekend, all work chores completed, new tyres fitted, take a glance at the optimate and there is a red light, bollocks, the battery has gone west.

Started shopping around (i live in the back end of beyond) and am staggered by the prices. My "local" bike shop quotes me £50.00 ish but when they are told it is for a Buell it doubles to £100.00 They may have been trying to offload a gel battery, but even so............

Have just checked my maintenance log the Rob Hunter that is on the there at the moment was fitted in September 1999 Think I may have got my monies worth out of it.

What is a reasonable price for a 1997 S3 Battery?

Dont even bother with anything that aint genuine HDB.....price for which has now fallen to around 80 quid...but be quick, 10% increase hits on the 16th of this month
