A uly would chew those up on the tarmac as too heavy and they would get too hot.

That's a good point. These tyres were originally marketed as supermoto tyres, for the likes of Super Dukes and RC30s, which weigh nearly half as much as a Uly. Also note that they appear to be 'H' rated.

Might be interesting to know if Distanzias would be any good on a Uly. I used them on a XTZ750 and they worked great. The tread is good enough for semi off road stuff.
A 180 section might muck up the road handling.
