Won't bother then, it was only as they were incredibly cheap, £5 for the palm or £20 for the laptop.

Bump... Will Ecmspy work on an android tablet? If so, are there minimum requirements?

ECMDroid will , it works on any android phone or tablet but you need a Bluetooth dongle for the bike, I'm not sure it can connect any other way.

Thanks for your reply, being connected via bluetooth wouldn't be a problem, could maybe just use my sons hudl2 then. Do you know where the bluetooth adapters can be bought? Are they similar to the OBDII adapters for cars?

Thanks

I made my own using Pash's info on here , was ullychris or somebody that recently made some for sale?
I believe the Bluetooth adaptors are specific to Buells.

Re-visiting this idea now, I've been trying to sell my PS3 and some games but people want to pay peanuts for it. CEX will give me £50 cash, or £74 voucher for their shop. So I've been looking at what tablets they do…

So, in your opinions, which of these would be the best compromise of price and how well it'll work?

Theres a Tesco HUDL2, for £85

A samsung galaxy tab 4, for £95

Samsung galaxy tab 3, for £70

Samsung galaxy tab 2, for £65

Or a google nexus 7, for £65

Also, is it ECM-Spy or ECM-Droid which runs on tablets?
I'll hopefully also be using this with the 'Torque' app on the car, but don't really need to worry about video quality as I won't be using it for anything apart from car or bike. Thanks.
