Hi all, had a thread for my engine refresh for this project which was a great help. I put the project on ADV rider this week to share and get some advice or criticism (which I will ignore obviously). Already got one Buell guy from Austria weighed in with a good tip. Anyway, if your bored anytime it's here, will try to update daily.

V.nice.....but I reckon Wildebeasts has the potential to be nicerer....I prefer his tank and seat setup...much more 'Metisse' like... :yup:

Many years ago I used to drool over a beautiful Triumph 500 in a metisse frame with ivory coloured seat and tank unit....just perfect.

Had to push the f'cking thing home today. Here's the whole story

http://supermotojunkie.com/showthread.p ... 400-ktm690

The guy who talked me in to the flash EFi system a year ago I used to work with but he just left. Worse news is he's still with his young girlfriend who f'cked things up in the first place.
I'm trying to crack on with the Metisse, all very frustrating.
And, Lacy, it's pretty much going to be on credit! I 'refinanced' to get the frame, amazingly I'm still married lOl
