What a great buy, virtually bone stock 96 S1 with less than a thousand miles on it. US$4k.

Nice, bargain and rare in yellow. As far as I can see it only needs a standard muffler and it is 100% stock.

I am so tempted...

Sure you could buy it and just ride it, but (for me) it would be a case of changing the pimary tensioner, oil pump gear, swinger, isolators, rocker covers, top end, carb, etc. etc.

Besides, my garage is full and I already have a yellow one...

You could have that S1 in the UK duty paid for about £4k including shipping and duty. I don't have any cash. Two weeks ago a bloke sold his S1 for 1000 bucks because it wouldn't start. I think it needed a battery.

Pay the guy by PayPal. Phone up Scumacher Logistics, get them to pick it up and ship it to Thamesport. Pay the tax (through SL) when it arrives. Go pick it up. Insure it against The VIN. Ride for an MOT (with no reg - that is the best bit). Register it at the DVLA. Job's a carrot!

:yt: I bought mine in N.Y. State and used Schumacher out of Toronto.

The really great thing now, is that the bikes are too old to need an SVA test. :sun:

I rode mine for a month on a N.Y. plate as well. ;)
