So I've got myself some Cole Foster grips and replacement mirrors (thanks Dutch ) i removed the bar end mirrors that were on my 'bolt, the question is this......

How the holy hell do i get the gubbins out of the bar end?
the mirror came off piece of pish, but the internal fitment bit????

Do i simply attach a bolt, thread enough so it grips and then tap/wriggle it out?

If its just anchored in using a section of rubber oil line, thread a bolt long enough to pick up the nut/threaded insert and using pliers wiggle it out. If its anchored in using an expanding wedge/hilti bolt type fixing then use a bolt long enough to pick up the threaded insert and try tapping CAREFULLY IN first to release the expanding wedge, before wiggling it outwards. Hope this helps.

Just hammer it in further.

screw in a little bit, tap on the head once or twice and withdraw, all good cheers
