I thought they were registered as S1's to avoid reapplying for european type approval. So it doesn't make sense that there should be any X1's registered at all. |

Possibly corrected with DVLA on an individual basis by owners who didn't want to be sullied with this reputation; "The S1 Lightning which the X1 superceded was visually rank" (not my words)

When I registered my X1, which I bought in LV, the V5 came through as an S1, fuel type was heavy oil  .......the V5 now reads X1, petrol
