Hi All,

Went to France this year with just my rucksack. Anyone recommend any panniers for a lightning 12s. Nothing to big or expensive, just waterproof.

Get some Karrimor Dry Sacks from Sports Direct regardless of what you buy...

I use the original Buell panniers but are not designed for more than a weekend really as quite small and also NOT waterproof so you will need to use liners.

Quite a few people use the rucksacks that fit onto a metal framework (can't remember the make, but know Kevmean uses/has used one) and you have the choice of facing it either way, I.e. If you aren't carrying a pillion you can position the weight closer to you by sitting the rucksack forward facing on the pillion seat.

I use oxford rollback with bungies . Totally waterproof . And yes jill you are pushing your luck :mrgreen:
