Learn to love Maz and you'll learn to interpret his headbangs lOl I think this one means "You cabbage, the XB12STT was built as a solo motorcycle  " If you look closely at the icon on the rear of the seat it means "no passengers" :rotfl:

A proper explanation would have been helpful.
have seen BUELL XB12STT LIGHTNING SUPER TT with footrests and what looks like a [all be it short] dual seat not hump .
As a person that has always liked the sound of and look of buells i am still relatively new to the different models.
Looking for advice and help with my new hobby.
Ask me about Norton twins and I would be fully at home.
I have saved and allocated enough money to purchase and restore as required the motorcycles I intend purchasing.
But I will not be throwing money at upgrades unless convinced they are essential.
I think we all know what they are by now!

have bid and am at present winning this -
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Buell-XB12ST ... 1431.l2649

It has a passenger foot rest!
I have looked at them now on youtube and see some do and some do not!
For overland riding I can see a passenger would be a liability,.

I would be interested in the state of the gearbox output shaft bearing at that mileage regardless of the fact that has an FST fitted...

thanks for that will bear that in mind hopefully the purchase price will allow for a good service,
I think at £3400 it should allow for any repairs required :?:
As has been said else where could be serviced and upgraded and be better than new.

Post subject:  Re: ebay

As with all XB's, if the output bearing were toast the bike would be an economical write off.

Loosen the belt, sprocket cover off, then you are looking for radial movement.
