Can't believe anybody paid the price new that Buell were asking for those colours though.........my 2001 x1 was £7500 +£200 for nuclear blue frame..they also had a 2000 X1 in Norm colours for sale at the same time at £9995 :o how the fuck did they justify the extra £2500

Never thought about it before but I only know the history of three of them and none of them would have paid the full asking price :o The one CJ has posted the picture of was Nigel's (my boss), 1203 had one and another guy at H-D UK had one as well which I think is the one that Norm now owns.

Steve

I'd have thought that paint scheme would have justified a £2500 reduction in price.............either that or a free white stick and guide dog :D

Indeed, I can't remember the gentleman's name but he was missing the lower part of his left leg. (There's a cue for jokes about the price of the Radikal kits  )

At the time, I was looking at the purple version of it, which Rik has now, but £2,500 was an immense price. The kit on mine ended up on a 2002 bike, though, which shows how long it did take to shift them all, even internally.
