Can't believe anybody paid the price new that Buell were asking for those colours though.........my 2001 x1 was £7500 +£200 for nuclear blue frame..they also had a 2000 X1 in Norm colours for sale at the same time at £9995  how the fuck did they justify the extra £2500

Never thought about it before but I only know the history of three of them and none of them would have paid the full asking price The one CJ has posted the picture of was Nigel's (my boss), 1203 had one and another guy at H-D UK had one as well which I think is the one that Norm now owns.Steve |

Indeed, I can't remember the gentleman's name but he was missing the lower part of his left leg. (There's a cue for jokes about the price of the Radikal kits )At the time, I was looking at the purple version of it, which Rik has now, but £2,500 was an immense price. The kit on mine ended up on a 2002 bike, though, which shows how long it did take to shift them all, even internally. |
